Problem
The product needed an Android image that would survive compatibility and Play Protect on a form factor that is not a phone — not only a first boot on a development board.
Notes
Smart glasses are not a reference phone. The Android software still has to answer the same suites a phone answers, on hardware that was not designed as a GMS poster child.
The useful work was the image, the HAL and kernel changes that belonged to the product, and the habit of running CTS, VTS, and Play Protect before anyone called a drop done. That habit is now a packaged offer; the glasses program is the principal’s prior work.
