Application firmware for a shipping consumer-audio line: OTA, BLE GATT, power management, and the software around a DSP already on the part.
Prior program of Arpan Patel, proprietor and principal of ASHNAY SOFTWARE. Not an ASHNAY company case study. ASHNAY SOFTWARE did not ship this work.

Problem
The product needed firmware that could update in the field, expose a control protocol a phone or accessory could speak, and stay inside a power budget — without treating the first factory image as the last word.
Notes
This was firmware for a product people would buy and keep. The interesting work was not a blinky first boot. It was the update that must not brick a unit, the GATT model an accessory can implement against, and the power states that decide whether the product lasts a day or an evening.
The DSP was already on the part. The software around it — buffers, control, the path the user actually hears as “the product works” — was the firmware problem. Schematic and datasheet reading belonged to that work. Drawing the board did not.
ASHNAY does not claim this product line. The program is here because it is the class of firmware the company now offers, and because it is honest about where that competence was earned.
